After nearly two years of planning, coordination, and construction, ECC is proud to help bring a new chapter of Pepperdine Golf to life with the nearly 8,000-square-foot Pepperdine Waves Golf Facility, scheduled to open Fall 2026.
The new state-of-the-art facility on the Pepperdine University Malibu campus presented a unique building challenge that required close collaboration between ECC, DLR Group, and the construction management team at Pepperdine University. From structural integration and complex logistics to the installation of specialized golf training bays, the project showcases ECC’s commitment to delivering high-quality spaces that support student-athlete success for generations to come.
The Pepperdine Golf Clubhouse will serve as the central hub for Pepperdine’s men's and women's golf programs, providing dedicated spaces for training, coaching, recovery, collaboration, and team development. The facility includes advanced indoor hitting bays featuring TrackMan simulation technology, a cutting-edge TOURPUTT putting lab, team locker rooms, coaches’ offices, meeting room, lounge, and support spaces designed to elevate the student-athlete experience.
The reimagined facility enhances and expands the Firestone Fieldhouse through a second-floor addition, requiring complex structural retrofits and specialized interior renovations. Executed with exceptional precision, the finished space delivers a premier training environment and sets the standard for NCAA golf programs nationwide.
As construction nears completion, ECC is honored to have partnered with Pepperdine University on a project that will shape the future of its golf programs. The new Pepperdine Golf Clubhouse represents more than a building; it is an investment in student-athletes, a centerpiece for recruiting and player development, and the beginning of a new golfing legacy on campus.
